Rental Terms

Units are reserved by contacting First National Real Estate Busselton. To secure your unit, you will need to complete our simple Storage Agreement form, which can either be sent to you electronically or completed in person at the office. Once the form is completed and submitted, your unit will be officially reserved.

Storage units are rented on a month-to-month basis, with flexible notice as outlined in the Storage Agreement. Longer fixed-term leases are also available for added convenience.

Yes. A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required.

Rent is invoiced monthly in advance; however, you may pay for multiple months in advance if preferred. Customers can set up a direct debit for added convenience.

Yes. Receipts or statements can be provided on request for all payments made, which is useful for personal or business record-keeping.

If payment is missed, overdue notices will be issued. All tenants are required to ensure payments are made on time. Failure to pay rent when due may result in default action being taken in accordance with the Storage Agreement, including restricted access.

Yes. The facility is fully secure, with perimeter fencing and an electric gate. Security cameras and a monitoring system are in place throughout the complex, and gate entry is monitored to record who enters and exits.

The electric gate is operated using a remote dialler system. We register your phone number, and you simply call the number provided to open the gate. Once your number is registered, you can grant access from anywhere -perfect for allowing removalists or family members to enter. As a backup, a pin code touchpad is also provided in case the gate system malfunctions.

Yes. You are required to supply your own padlock for your storage unit.

What Can & Can’t Be Stored

Items may be stored provided they are lawful, safe, and permitted under the Storage Agreement.

Dangerous, hazardous, flammable, perishable, illegal, or environmentally harmful items are strictly prohibited.

Vehicle storage is only permitted where expressly approved and recorded in the Storage Agreement.

Yes. Tenants may request to upgrade or move to a different unit, subject to availability and approval from First National Real Estate Busselton.
Insurance & Liability

No. You store goods entirely at your own risk and are responsible for arranging your own insurance.

No. The owner and managing agent do not insure stored goods and accept no responsibility for loss or damage, except as required by law.
Moving & Support

Ending Your Rental

Termination must be carried out in accordance with the notice provisions set out in the Storage Agreement. Please advise First National Real Estate Busselton of your intended vacate date. A minimum of 21 days’ notice is required.

Refunds are only provided where permitted under the Storage Agreement and subject to compliance with notice requirements.
